AI for Professionals.

Why CoBuilder exists, what we believe, and what we are building.

001Origin

The pattern Anthony kept noticing.

CoBuilder began with a pattern Anthony Franco, our founder, kept noticing. Smart, accomplished professionals — people running companies, managing teams, serving real customers — were getting limited mileage out of ChatGPT. They could ask questions and get answers, but the leverage stopped there.

Meanwhile, engineers were doing something different. The coding tools they used with AI — context-aware, file-backed, capable of executing real work — were producing dramatically better results. So Anthony started teaching the professionals he knew to use those same developer tools directly. With some patient walking-through, it worked. Non-coders were getting outcomes from AI they had never seen before.

002Belief

The power should be the default.

But the experience was wrong. The tools that made AI powerful were intimidating, jargon-heavy, and frankly ugly — built for engineers, not for the people who needed the results most. Smart people shouldn't have to learn a development environment to draft a proposal, follow up with a vendor, or keep their operations running. The power should be the default; the surface should respect the user's profession.

003What we're building

The workspace that came out of the gap.

CoBuilder is the workspace that came out of that gap. The same architecture that gives engineers leverage with AI — context, files, tools that do real work — in a product designed for everyone else. It is not a coding tool. It is for the work professionals actually do: serving customers, supporting employees, managing vendors, and operationalizing a business.
